I am a registered psychotherapist with a masters degree in counselling psychology. I am certified in addictions counselling as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Solutions focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I have worked for over 10 years as a mental health and addictions therapist, and have worked with both adolescents and adults.
Over the years I have ran many psycho-educational workshops on a variety of mental health conditions as education is one of my passions.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapy (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Everyone deserves a life that is meaningful with less anxiety, isolation, work stress, burnout and relationship issues. Therapy helps us to understand the situation we are in and to commit to a path towards physical, mental, and emotional wellness - to become more of who we are and more engaged with the people and the life around us.
Together we will develop a tailor-made approach to help you untangle from your issues and pain while getting you moving in a direction that is important to you, utilizing your strengths and appropriate approaches that may include one or more therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Act and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
